As you all know, COVID-19 vaccines have been proven to drastically reduce the likelihood of serious illness, hospitalization and death, especially for our residents. This same statement is true for our annual Influenza vaccination; now more than ever! In fact, it’s our high rate of staff and resident vaccinations along with the effectiveness of these vaccinations, that led to the CDC being able to begin reducing some of the heavy burden of screening, testing, and PPE requirements!
Vaccinations will reduce the possibility of a new surge and the return of testing/PPE/illness due to COVID or Influenza in our communities! As a company, we have been very successful in having a high vaccination rate (>90% residents and staff) and have protected the vulnerable population that we serve. So let’s celebrate how far we’ve come, stay strong, and stay focused on keeping our vaccination and booster rates high.
