It’s always exciting to hear directly from seniors recovering from an injury under our care about the effect we have on their lives and well-being. Neil Harth, a lifelong farmer and recent resident at Marquis Newberg, shared the story of his experience with his Consonus Rehab therapy team and the entire staff at Marquis Newberg. “When you start your therapy they’re pushy!” he exclaimed, laughing. “But you had better listen to them because they know what they are doing.” Neil knew he needed to do the hard work his therapists were asking him to do so that he could recover and get back to the life he loved prior to his injury. The gratitude he felt for the support that he received from both his Consonus therapists and the staff at Marquis Newberg was overflowing. “Everybody here wants to help you. That’s been the whole attitude of the whole staff, and I’m grateful for that.” Neil has since headed home, but left Marquis Newberg uplifted and feeling deeply cared for during his stay.
