Patricia Pittman, a resident at Marquis Vermont Hills, grew up on a Nebraska farm and was recently given the opportunity to re-experience country life. Thanks to the generosity of Jacqueline Hudson, an intern at the facility, Pat was invited to the family’s farm where she met Wildfire, a very young and gentle horse.
Getting to take a road trip, spend time at the farm and have lunch with the gals back at the facility made for a very special day for Pat. She smiled from beginning to end, and touched the hearts of the farm owners so much so that she and other facility residents have been invited back for a home-style barbecue.
