Cindi Martin’s legacy and spirit live on through her family, who choose to honor her fiery spirit by offering a scholarship in her name. The Cindi Martin Continuing Education Scholarship Fund was recently awarded to Heather Meadows, a LPN at Marquis Plum Ridge. 

As they awarded Heather with the scholarship, Cindi’s family stated, “We believe that your empathy and dedication to your patients and staff, and to the provision of quality care are some of the best examples that reflect the shared values of Cindi. Your path through school has also mirrored Cindi’s as well. You also wrote “this work that we do, that Cindi was such an influential part of, is a work of heart, soul, mind and body.” We couldn’t agree more, and we sincerely hope that this scholarship will help you achieve your school and career goals and will allow you to continue to serve in this important work. We look forward to seeing your continued growth and the drive you have shown as an LPN as you move into a RN position once your degree is completed.  Congratulations!”
