Meet Patricia “Pat” Pittman, a talented artist and a vibrant resident of Marquis Vermont Hills since August 2020. Passionate about art from a young age, Pat is always happy to participate in any art-related activities at Vermont Hills.
Her artistic journey began early in life. “I used to get in trouble all of the time in school for doodling instead of listening to my teachers!”
Pat’s favorite subject to draw is portraits. She enjoys bringing people’s unique features and emotions to life through her art. “I don’t know why, but I really enjoy drawing people’s faces. They’re really easy to do.”
In a recent art show that she held at Vermont Hills, Pat explored mediums such as clay, paint, marbles, and colored-pencils, and even ventured into the world of iPhone photography. Constantly seeking fresh ways to express her creativity, Pat’s open-mindedness fuels her artistic growth.
Whether she’s sketching delicate lines on paper or molding clay, Pat continues to pursue her lifelong love of art and enjoys sharing her experiences and creations with residents and staff at Vermont Hills.
