During the holidays, the Vital Life Foundation encourages Marquis and Consonus employees to help provide hope and comfort by supporting our charitable partners. Ronald McDonald House Charities was recently the recipient of such kindness when our staff participated in the annual RMHC Holiday Toy Drive.

When families have a sick child, RMHC provides them safe spaces, comforting meals, moments of joy and everything in between, all completely free of charge, so they can feel at home while their children are treated in local hospitals. During the holidays, the organization sets up a toy shop for families to do their holiday gift shopping free of charge.

For four weeks, Marquis facilities raised funds and collected toys from all over the Portland, Oregon, metro area to donate to the RMHC Toy Shop. On Friday, December 16, more than 40 Marquis and Consonus staff delivered those toys to the charity’s Portland East House and the South Waterfront House. Several staff also volunteered on-site, sorting toys by type and age group and helping to restock the shelves.
