Several groups of staff from Marquis had the opportunity to support Vital Life Foundation charitable partner Ronald McDonald House Charities with Vital Volunteer hours in-person and on-site at the Portland East House and South Waterfront houses.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Oregon & SW Washington provides access to medical care, a home away from home, and a community of support for seriously ill or injured children and their families. Groups of staff from the current Ascend Cohort and Home Office staff volunteered their time cooking a harvest-themed meal for RMHC families, decorating the house for the fall season, and hosting a pumpkin carving activity with RMHC guests and their families.

When Marquis or Consonus staff volunteer together their support gives back twice! The in-person volunteer efforts are a fantastic way to support VLF charitable partners and hours spent volunteering can be tracked and submitted as Vital Volunteer time where VLF will match each hour served with a $10 donation in support of any qualified not for profit organization.
