Norman “Boogie Cat” Sylvester offered a free concert on the lawn at Marquis Piedmont nearly a decade ago in honor of a musician friend who was a resident at the time. He continues to honor his late friend every year by organizing a concert with local music artists who volunteer their time and talent.
